Clay County Rehabilitation Center, Inc. (CCRC) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation providing services since 1974 to Clay County and surrounding area residents with disabilities. The original intent of forming CCRC was to provide a day program to disabled residents of a local long-term care residential facility. Over the years, the agency has expanded to provide services to residents of nine (9) different long-term care facilities in Flora and surrounding counties. We also serve individuals who live with relatives or independently with a variety of day programs and vocational programs. Clay County Rehabilitation Center has occupied a number of structures in Flora over the past years. In 1985 the agency was able to acquire a school building that the local school district had recently replaced. The agency soon after built a small workshop building on the property. This structure now is the location of the agency's Recycling Center. In 1996, Clay County Rehabilitation Center was able to purchase a production facility in the local Industrial Park. At this time all of the agency's vocational programs were relocated to the Industrial Park location. CCRC is governed by a Board of Directors made up of citizens from the Clay County area, who volunteer their time and effort to maintain and improve the service offered at CCRC. The agency does not discriminate against individuals based on race, religion, sex, age, national origin, color, creed, ancestry, political conviction, past history of alcohol abuse, substance abuse, mental illness, developmental disability, physical handicap, marital status or veteran status in accordance with applicable federal and state law.
