is designed to promote independence in daily living and assist individuals in becoming economically self-sufficient;
provides in-home services to qualified individuals in areas which include training and assistance in: self-care training, food preparation, shopping, accessing transportation, social activities in the community, and other areas as needed on an individual basis;
provides services which allow individuals to remain living in their own homes in the community.
